How They Should Look"

"Looking Good"
Buying and Wearing Knickers
When buying knickers keep in  mind the length is  almost as  important as the
waist size.  Properly  cut knickers  should  blouse  over the knee several inches
for that true knickers look.

The leg band  should be placed right below the full knee  cap,   within an inch or two below, but can be moved up or down until you are satisfied with the over the knee "hang".  Whether you have bought the  "hang perfect"  or "casual" style  blousing, there should  be  enough material to hang over the band several inches hiding the band from view. In  our  opinion  longer  is better than shorter.   Also, true looking knickers should have some width at the knee and not be tapered to the width of the knee.

Shy away from ordering knickers  where the same length is supposedly designed
to fit several heights. If you are on the short end of that range they will probably
be  too long  and if  you  are on  the  high end of the range chances  are they will
most likely be too short.

When  buying  knickers  look  for adjustable  waist and leg bands. The leg bands should have some built in tension,   so once they are set to your size and comfort level,  you will  not have  to release the band every time you put your kickers  on and take them off.   Knickers that  have only  a knit band for the leg  band  are inexpensively made.
